wideHow welcomes unsolicited articles, blog posts, videos and infographics. We accept online submissions. Our mission is to create fresh, immersive articles on SEO and Internet Marketing, health and horsemanship, Lifestyle and Sport, Food and beautiful recipes, Travel and Tourism, insightful personal essays, doable DIYs, shopping guides, original beauty tutorials, actionable life tips, creative, relatable articles on any topic.


What we publish


We publish three types of content:

1. Features (1,500–2,500 words). Meets most rigorous content and editorial criteria; runs with a custom illustration.

2. Articles (600–1,500 words). More casual in tone and content. Great for less-intensive tutorials and posts.

3. Mini-articles (500–600 words). Short and sweet.


All should be well-considered explorations of current and cutting-edge topics in the web industry. We pay even $50 per mini-article, $100 per article, and $200 per feature.


How to submit (and what happens next)


If you are a seasoned professional or a recent college graduate or just entering college for the first time, and would enjoy writing for an online journal then wideHow welcomes your submissions. If you wish to contribute to wideHow, send an email to submissions@wideHow.com with “Submission” in the header or attach your document using the form below.

If this is your first submission, by all means include a short or lengthy bio about yourself. This can include your academic background, previous scholarly work and with whom you are professionally affiliated.

Q. What should I write about?

Ans: Read our site wideHow. We like realistic, actionable advice, posts that will help writers on their own writing journey. Please write in the “you” voice as much as possible, and then support your advice with personal experience or stories.

Q. Can I repost my submission on my blog?

Ans: No, You can’t do this. All articles must be unique content and never post before and after anywhere on the web.

Q. How long should my posts be?

Ans: Submissions for one of our blog sections should range between 500 and 1000+ words, while feature articles generally start at around 1200+ words. For original reporting in particular, we recommend first pitching ideas to the editor.

Q. What should I do after I submit my post?

Ans: Make sure to include a bio for the bottom of the post with all your social media accounts and your blog linked so we can promote your article and you.

Q. What about headshot?

Ans: Our system uses your email to grab your headshot from Gravatar, so make sure your photo is uploaded there.
